Ludhiana city, one of the largest cities in the northern part of India, is considered as the largest industrial city of Punjab. The city covers the area of almost 310 square kilometer. The renowned Punjab Agricultural University is located on the outskirts of Ludhiana city. In its nearby location, leafy Nehru Rose Garden is built which features ornamental fountains and more than one thousand different rose varieties. To the north, Maharaja Ranjit Singh War Museum is located that documents Punjabi military history.
