Aims: A teacher-led course to prepare candidates for the IELTS speaking examination, for both the IELTS General and Academic examination.
Delivery: One-to-one, using Zoom or Google Meeting. Up to three students can take the course at one time.
Course length: 4 hours
Schedule: This is completely flexible and will be designed in conjunction with the student (or students) to fit in with their requirements, availability and the availability of the teacher.
Content. The course is completely interactive with the teacher. It will look at the types of speaking tasks and explore strategies for speaking 7.5 to 9 band answers. The actual content, in detail, will depend on the current level of the students and their individual needs, which will be the starting point of the course. Therefore, it will be suitable for both students that have not taken the examination before and students who have taken the IELTS examination previously and want to improve their band. There will be an end-of-course speaking examination based on an actual IELTS examination question, after course completion. Detailed verbal and written feedback will be given.
