These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of the LAPT Website.

By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use the LAPT website if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page. 

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: "Client", "You" and "Your" refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions. "The Company", "Ourselves", "We", "Our" and "Us", refers to our Company. "Party", "Parties", or "Us", refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Netherlands. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Unless otherwise stated, LAPT and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on LAPT. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from LAPT for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

This Agreement shall begin on the date hereof.

Parts of this website offer an opportunity for users to post and exchange opinions and information in certain areas of the website. LAPT does not filter, edit, publish or review Comments prior to their presence on the website. Comments do not reflect the views and opinions of LAPT, its agents and/or affiliates. Comments reflect the views and opinions of the person who post their views and opinions. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, LAPT shall not be liable for the Comments or for any liability, damages or expenses caused and/or suffered as a result of any use of and/or posting of and/or appearance of the Comments on this website.

LAPT reserves the right to monitor all Comments and to remove any Comments which can be considered inappropriate, offensive or causes breach of these Terms and Conditions.

If you are one of the organizations listed in paragraph 2 above and are interested in linking to our website, you must inform us by sending an e-mail to LAPT. Please include your name, your organization name, contact information as well as the URL of your site, a list of any URLs from which you intend to link to our Website, and a list of the URLs on our site to which you would like to link. Wait 2-3 weeks for a response.

Approved organizations may hyperlink to our Website as follows:

  • By use of our corporate name; or

No use of LAPT's logo or other artwork will be allowed for linking absent a trademark license agreement.

We shall not be hold responsible for any content that appears on your Website. You agree to protect and defend us against all claims that is rising on your Website.     LAPT Certified Trainer

    Please read the terms of LAPT Certified Trainers. You need to apply as a trainer for the courses listed on the LAPT website. If your profile is approved you shall be able to register the student and publish your training schedule under your approved course. 

    When you get approved as a trainer you get a trainers dashboard that you utilise to manage your assigned training courses. You will be able to see your learners, check their assignments, assess them and manage your training delivery.

    Training Schedule

    The training schedule shall be listed under your profile. You shall be able to publish your own training schedule for the courses you are certified to train. The schedules can be-

    1. Online Training to global online learners

    2. Onsite training to local learners

    3. E-Learning Schedule- Training videos of your previous classes

    LAPT Qualifications

    LAPT offers training courses (ILT, VILT and E-Learning) and awards industry recognised employable certification benchmarked on the basis of its proctored assessments and examination. On-site proctoring, as well as on-site proctoring, is managed by the LAPT team. 

    LAPT Hospitality exams are also available on Pearson VUE testing centres in 180 countries.

    LAPT Accredited Online E-Learning (Video) Courses

    As a certified trainer, you can also publish your own video-based E-learning courses. We accredit online video-based training. Your learners can be certified based on the accreditation process of LAPT.

    If you are a subject matter expert, with professional work experience get your courses accredit by LAPT. Please read "Course Accreditation and Qualification Development" for more details. You need to send us your course details including the assessment methods.

    This will enable your learners to get certified by LAPT. To get your courses accredited by LAPT it should follow a structured framework which includes standard learning outcome and trustable assessment procedures. 

    Level of Accreditation

    Based on the course structure duration, framework, learning outcome and assessments the courses shall be accredited at 

    1. Certificate Level

    2. Advanced Certificate Level

    3. Diploma Level

    4. Advanced Diploma Level/Post-Graduate Diploma Level

    We invite working professionals and trainers to get their courses accredited by LAPT and convert their professional expertise into professional certification. The qualification certificate is jointly awarded and can grow with the LAPT network of accredited training academies.


    You should be a subject matter expert in your industry. The courses you offer should have a clear career progression and route. The certified learners should be offered career guidelines on getting placed in that industry.

    Who can apply for LAPT Accreditation 

    1. Any single applicant,

    2. Team of professionals or

    3. Any training academy

    4. Software or IT development company

    5. Any business that wants to establish a global qualification framework

    can apply for course accreditation.


    1. Submit course description, industry and profile of the applicant (Team, academy, company etc)

    2. If we agree on providing accreditation services to your courses we send you a written confirmation with a non-disclosure agreement.

    3. You need to sign NDA and we send you an accreditation and validation service agreement with all financial terms.

    4. The Training provider submit the course syllabus, teaching methodology, training content resources and exam model

    5. LAPT Technical committee will audit and evaluate the course.

    6. Upon approval by the LACE Board members, LAPT will approve and recognize the course provided by the training provider.

    7. The Certification shall be listed under LAPT Academies and we can now start delivering the course through LAPT Certified Trainers and academies


    1. Examination- If the skill can be assessed by a multiple-choice/written based quiz, learners shall qualify the minimum required marks.

    2. Assessments- Video-based assessments or live online assessments shall be conducted if the skills cannot be measured through multiple choice/written questions.


    Learners shall be awarded the following qualification based on the duration and assessments of the course-

    Certificate Level- Any course of up to 30 hours duration

    Advanced Certificate Level- Above 30 hours to 60 hours

    Diploma Level- ABove 60 hours to 100 hours

    Advanced Diploma Level - Above 100 Hours

    Minimum Qualification Requirements

    1. No minimum qualification requirement for certificate and advanced certificate

    2. Minimum 10th grade for Diploma Level Courses

    3. Minimum 12th Grade for Advanced Diploma Courses

    Training Providers Terms

    Term training provider, instructor, teacher, LAPT Certified trainer are the same.

    Logging in as a training provider is as per the terms mentioned below. LAPT reserves the right to amend, edit, remove and add content to these terms and condition.

    Along with these terms, you also agree with all other terms and condition mentioned on this page

    Instructors’ contracts are on a one-on-one basis with the company irrespective of any payment facilitation by any LAPT subdivision.

    As an instructor, you are contracting directly with LAPT LTD (a company incorporated in England and Wales with company number 04984798) on a freelance basis. You shall be working on a per hour bases or revenue-sharing model as mentioned in training providers terms. Training Provider is a sellers account. You will be able to sell your training services. You can also publish and sell your content in accordance with the terms, guidelines and policies mentioned on this page (Side Panel)

    Your responsibility as a LAPT Certified Trainer

    An instructor takes full accountability for any content he/she posts on the platform (“submitted content”)

    An instructor confirms that:

    • The accounts  information is correct;
    • He or she is fully authorized to enable LAPT to use their content as per this document;
    • Submitted documents do not violate copyrights;
    • He/she is legally qualified and  authorized to offer the services they post;
    • He/she guarantees quality work that concurs with the set standards.

    An instructor guarantees the following;

    • The posts will be kept free from any defamatory, racially discriminating, despicable, intransigent, obscene, or false content;
    • He/she shall not share any unauthorized materials on the platform.
    • He or she shall on only use the platform for its rightful purpose;
    • He/she would not take part in any undertakings that require LAPT s unintended duties;
    • He/she will not obstruct or hinder other instructors from offering their services;
    • They will not misappropriate the company’s resources; and
    • They will not imitate other instructors or gain access to their accounts with no permission.

    2. Authorization.

    The instructor offers the company permission as indicated by the terms of service to modify, market, and deliver the submitted content to students at will.

    An instructor has the right to detach whole or part of their submitted content in a normal situation, including those available at the company's promotion policy.

    An instructor offers full permission to the company to use parts or a whole of their submitted content for any purpose resulting in better service delivery to its clients.  Any personal information of the instructor that may include photos, voice, or name can also be used by the company, provided the information is allowable by the governing authorities.

    3 Trust and safety.

    3.1 Trust and safety policies.

    An instructor complies with LAPT on standard Trust and Safety policies, together with the restricted topic policies in the training industry. Service access on the platform is also dependant on the company's approval. The company at any moment has the authority to prohibit an instructor, remove their work, or delay payments in cases indicated below;

    • A course fails to meet LAPT required standards;
    • An instructor threatens the company’s reputation;
    • An instructor illegally cooperates with a third party that does not concur that LAPTS policies;
    • Or as decided by the company in its view.

    3.2 Relationships to other users

    The only way a training provider relates to the students is over the LAPTs platform; therefore, any personal information about a student can rightfully be accessed by an instructor through LAPT. A student's data acquired through the platform is only supposed to be used by the instructor for the right purposes. The instructor takes full account of any inappropriate use of a student's personal information.

    3.3Anti-Piracy Efforts

    An instructor’s account and courses are primarily protected against depredation from unauthorized persons by the company and its anti-piracy partners. Any enforcement required to safeguard the instructor's intellectual property will be done by the company and the mentioned partners.

    The company will uphold the company's above authorization unless the instructor nullifies them by sending an email to the company’s mailbox (piracy@LAPT.com) with subject precisely phrased as "Revoke Anti-Privacy protection rights." The above email information is implemented within 48 hours.

    4. Pricing

    4.1 Price setting

    An instructor is given a (“base price”) to select for his/her course.

    4.2 Applicable Taxes.

    The company collects taxes and pays them to any required transaction costs or relevant authorities in which a student makes a purchase of an instructor’s products and services.

    5 Earnings

    5.1 Payment division.

    Once a course purchase is made by a student, the "gross amount” is subjected to the following deductions before the tutor's net pay "net amount” is awarded to the instructor

    • Any applicable transaction taxes;
    • An instructor account receives a 50% post-deductions share of the net pay if the learner has been registered through advertising and promotion of LAPT
    • An instructor account receives 70% to 90% post-deductions share of the net pay if the learner has been registered by a training provider through student registration vouchers
    • In the event of any modifications on this payment rate, the company notifies the instructor via email or notice, whereas an instructor with a promotional programs account receives a different payment rate.

    Tutor payments are made in GBP or U.S. Dollars. The company covers processing costs; however, the instructor covered currency conversion and fees needed in the wiring. 

    5.2 Receiving payments

    An instructor receives payment PayPal payment accounts. Taxes details and a valid email account is also required. The company has the authority to deny payment if an instructor fails to provide the required information on the above requirements.

    An instructor is accountable for any taxes imposed on his/her income. Payments are given in a maximum period of 45days from the end of the month that the company received remittances from clients.

    It is the responsibility of an instructor to determine whether they deserve the payment. In the case of fraud or any form of law violation, LAPT has a right to deny payments.

    Any undelivered payments will be passed to the instructor’s government according to the company’s legal obligation.

    5.3 Refunds

    Students have a right to be refunded; therefore, no payment is given to an instructor whose client has been refunded.

    LAPT has the right to obtain money from the instructor if a student requires a refund after the payment has been made to the instructor. This obtaining can be done either by getting it from the next price accorded to the instructor or asking the instructor to reverse his/her payment.

    6 Trademarks

    Concurrence to the following specifications guarantees a published instructor access to the utilization of trademarks:

    • Use the trademarks in accordance with the company's laws.
    • Only use the trademarks for marketing your course;
    • Stop the use of trademarks immediately when prompted to do so by the company.

    An instructor should not;

    • Use the trademark to mislead;
    • Use the trademark to portray that you receive support from the company;
    • Use the trademark in a way that dishonours the laws of your country. 

    7 Sanctions 

    An instructor confirms that he/ she is not subject to any international export and suction restrictions whether in the place of an individual or an organization for which the instructor stands. In subjection to these international restrictions, while the instructor is working with LAPT, he/she must notify the company within 24hours. 

    8. Account removal

    Training Providers can send an email to the web admin at info@lapt.org and request his account removal. When the instructor deletes an active account, the submitted content is still accessible to the students utilizing the account before the deletion. Moreover, any payments yet undelivered to you will be made before the account is deleted. Any difficulties occurring while deleting an account can be sorted out through the company's chat support.

    Accounts are deactivated and not fully remove as the courses and learners records are associated with the training providers name.

    9 Various lawful terms

    9.1 Reviewing

    LAPT does an occasional review of their terms of service. Whenever an update arises, instructors get notified either by an email provided by them or a notice on the platform. These modifications are effected on the day of notification. Further working with the company after the revision implies that the individual agrees with the new terms.

    9.2 Correlation

    An instructor and the company do not share any relationship other than the student-instructor interface.

    9.3 Extension

    The sections of this document below remain unaffected by the lapse of these terms.

    No Academic Credit

    LAPT Certifications are developed by working professionals and subject matter experts. LAPT internal assessors board members approve the courses. The certifications are awarded based on the assessment procedure mentioned under each certification. A course completion certificate is awarded on completing the course.

    Participation in or completion of Content Offerings does not confer any academic credit. You (Learner or student) agree not to accept credit for completing a Content Offering LAPT to LAPT instructors, the accredited Training Academies, Corporate Clients and Content Providers have no obligation to have Content Offerings recognized by any educational institution or accreditation organization.

    Please also read the terms for removing your courses from the LAPT site. As a user of the LAPT website, you can get your account removed or deactivated based on the following terms and condition.

    1. Your profile can be deleted immediately if you have not published any courses on the LAPT platform. You need to send an email by your registered email id to info@lapt.org

    2. If you have approved course and no learners are enrolled you can still get your profile deleted from the LAPT database

    3. If your courses have learners your profile shall be deactivated and shall not be available for login and public view, but not deleted from the database due to technical issues. The learners can still access their credentials from the LAPT website. You can ask for reactivation by sending an email through a registered email id.

    4. If you are a certified student you cannot delete your records but you could deactivate your profile

    5. If you are a user not enrolled in any course, you can send email to delete your account and it shall be deleted from LAPT database

    The courses are removed or deactivated based on the following terms and conditions-

    1. Accredited courses can be removed based on the terms and condition of your signed agreement

    2. For non accredited courses If your course has no learners, you need to send an email from your registered email id to info@lapt.org and your course shall be deleted from the LAPT database

    2. If you have learners enrolled, free or paid, your course shall be deactivated and shall not be available for public viewing. Learners can still log in and see their credentials and courses.

    3. At any time LAPT can deactivate the courses in case of any breach of copyright issues.

    Disclaimer of Student-Content Provider Relationship

    Nothing in these Terms or otherwise with respect to your participation in any Content Offerings by Content Providers :

    (a) establishes any relationship between you and any Content Provider;

    (b) enrols or registers you in any Content Provider institution, or in any Content Offering offered by any Content Provider institution, or

    (c) entitles you to use the resources of any Content Provider institution beyond participation in the Content Offering.

    User Content

    The Services enable you to share your content, such as homework, quizzes, exams, projects, other assignments you submit, posts you make in the forums, and the like ("User Content"), with Coursera, instructors, and/or other users. You retain all intellectual property rights in, and are responsible for, the User Content you create and share. User Content does not include course content or other materials made available on or placed on to the Coursera platform by or on behalf of Content Providers or their instructors using the Services or Content Offerings. As between Coursera and Content Providers, such Content Offerings are governed by the relevant agreements in place between Coursera and Content Providers.

    How LAPT and Other LAPT Associates May Use User Content

    You grant LAPT a fully-transferable, royalty-free, perpetual, sublicensable, non-exclusive, worldwide license to copy, distribute, modify, create derivative works based on, publicly perform, publicly display, and otherwise use the User Content.

    This license includes granting LAPT the right to authorize Content Providers to use User Content with their registered students, on-site ILT learners, or Online VILT Learners or other learners independent of the Services.

    We reserve the right to remove or modify User Content for any reason, including User Content that we believe violates these Terms or other policies
