Any LAPT certificate can be checked by anyone, free, at lapt.org/verify/ — without contacting LAPT and without an account.
A qualification is only worth what an employer can check. London Academy of Professional Training (LAPT LTD) operates an open verification service: any LAPT certificate can be confirmed by anyone, free of charge, at lapt.org/verify/ — with no account, no request to LAPT and no waiting.
Every LAPT certificate carries a verification identifier and a QR code. Entering the identifier, or scanning the code with any phone camera, returns what LAPT holds on record: whether the certificate is genuine, who it was issued to, the certification it covers and the accredited centre that entered the learner.
The service exists because certificate fraud is an employer's problem before it is an awarding body's. A hiring manager in Dubai, a visa officer in London and a hotel group in Chennai can all reach the same record, at the same address, in seconds.
Verification is deliberately one-directional. It confirms a document a candidate has already shown; it is not a searchable directory of LAPT learners or accredited centres, and it cannot be used to browse either.
